Vic’s 66 Vintage Gas Pump Supply began in Guthrie, Oklahoma in the late 1980s. The original owners were Vic Raupe and his wife Sara, who ran a Phillips 66 gas station as well as a bookstore. These ventures gradually morphed into a retail and mail-order business specializing in service station memorabilia that we now know as Vic’s 66.

Looking to retirement, Vic and Sara sold the business in 2003 to their daughter and son-in-law, Melynn and Seth Robbins. About 5 years later, seeking new endeavors, the Robbins’ sold the business to Don Beaver and Lynn Nelson of Washington state. Before buying Vic’s 66, Don had been a collector of automobilia for many years and had also worked at restoring vintage gas pumps. Don and Lynn ran Vic’s 66 for nearly 12 years.

Meanwhile in Portland, Oregon, Mike Slama had been supplying Vic’s 66 all these years with his reproduction globes, ad glass, and decals. Since 1989, his company Vintage Gas Pump Supply has used techniques from the 1920s and ‘30s to screen print lenses and decals to make colorful, high-quality reproductions. When Don and Lynn wanted to retire in 2019, it seemed a natural fit for Mike to buy the business.

Since late 2019, Mike and our small team have moved the business to Oregon, weathered the market disruptions of 2020, and merged our operations. Finally, now we have a new website ready to move the business – and the hobby – into the future.

Our goal remains providing collectors and restorers of vintage gas pumps the most accurate and high-quality globes, decals, and reproduction parts in order to promote appreciation and preservation of the golden age of the American service station. In globes and decals, we continue to focus on the most interesting gasoline and oil logos from the 1920s through the 1950s. In parts, we’re working hard to expand our inventory.

Thank you for supporting our small business, Vic’s 66 Vintage Gas Pump Supply!
